My significant other

The first beautiful pint after a long day in the park

Dublin Zoo

Recovery day after Barbara's leaving party... went to Phoenix Park for a long walk, Marek came along and brought his Slovakian friends Thomas and Martina.

Went to Dublin Zoo, ate some ice cream and got stuck in traffic on the way home, quick pint in Baker's Corner, and a few more, and a few more...

Farewell, Babs!

Barbara's official leaving party was on 21 July, even though she finished on 12 July.

Ran up a huge tab in Tonic, said goodbye to the lightweights, and made our way into the Odeon.

As usual, it was me surrounded by lots of cute girls.

As if we didnt have enough to drink, we Babs and I found our way to the Gigs Place where we ate some dodgy burgers, drank some dodgy wine and met some very dodgy people.

Mike's Wedding

Mike got married to Jenny in Whitehall church, reception afterwards in Finnstown House, Lucan.

Took the day off work so that I'd have plenty of time.... however... decided that I needed a new suit, so went shopping. Got a lovely suit, new shirt and tie, cufflinks etc but after I got home I realized I'd picked up the wrong trousers, so back to Dundrum, changed the trousers, got dressed in the Fitting Room, and drove to the wedding, two hours late but moving fast.

Missed the wedding (who wants me at the church anyway?), went straight to the hotel. Tam and Niall were there back from honeymoon, Nora and Alan, Siobhan and Mark.

Jenny tried her best to set me up with her single friends but I think the Jameson and ginger ale got the better of me.

Spent some time out in the smoke shack discussing the big bang theory with Siobhan at three in the morning.

Of course, the Tiger Boy was still the last man standing at 4am.

Oxegen 2006

Worst Oxegen EVER!

Great bands though, Arctic Monkeys, the Who, Franz Ferdinand, the Chillis.

Went down with Col and his mates - Darren, Fitzy, Mucky, some chap from the North and a few WAGs (wives and girlfriends).

Col's brother-in-law JP was already there, setting up the tents and looking dodgy.

Duffman made an appearance again.

Rained a little on the first day, improved a lot the next morning. Everyone moaning about the weather.

Italy won the World Cup this weekend - saw the penalty shoot-out on the big screen between gigs.

Robbie Homecoming Gig

After completing his tour of the provinces, Robbie is back where he belongs, bringing laughs to the Liffey.

Great show.
